Blog Intro
This blog is my ‘mommy minute’.
Sometimes I get so stressed and feel I need a breather, that in my head I’ve coined as a ‘mommy minute’. You know when you close the bathroom door, turn on the shower and cry? I dont have a toddler yet, but I’m sure it would be in that moment that your toddler would need to join in on your mommy minute, and infamously violate your privacy (as every mom page seems to allude to).
Please don’t take me too seriously right now. I enjoy sarcasm, blunt jokes, and sometimes a pinch of dark humour just to spice life up a bit.
Being diagnosed with PPD is no joke, but humour is a huge coping mechanism for me and I dont think that’s a bad thing. Hopefully you will find this blog useful in the practical posts I share, along with honest and eye opening with the experiences and struggles I share. All along the way forming a new perspective that we all have stories and experiences to share, and understanding someone’s personal narrative is key in truly understanding them.
This blog is geared toward mom’s, but is really open to anyone willing to take their own “____ minute” to read and engage with what I have to say.
I am a Christian, so a perspective of faith will likely be present in some of the posts.
This blog is a creative outlet for me, and a sort of journal to look back on for practical reasons, but also sentimental.
So buckle up your super suits and punch it Chewie, cause it’s time for us all to take a ‘mommy minute’!
